We worship on Sunday mornings at 11am in our Sanctuary, which is clearly visible from our parking lot facing Daley Park. The worship experience includes prayers, Scripture readings, and music (including pieces sung by our choir September through May) that guide us alongside a relevant homily and the celebration of communion weekly.
What to Expect
What should I wear?
There is no dress code, but most folks dress casual to business casual.
Do you have childcare?
Yes! We have a nursery available from 10:45am-12:15pm for infants and children. That said, we understand that leaving your child with strangers can feel intimidating! So, we always welcome children in the worship service even if they’re squirming, talkative, or need a snack!
What about Sunday School?
Adult Sunday School takes place at 10am in our Parlor, September through May. We also have Worship & Wonder, which is for children ages 3-3rd grade and begins after the “Story for All Ages” in our worship service. Additionally, we have Inquiring Minds for ages 4th grade and up, which is a topical discussion and takes place during the Homily.
How do you take Communion?
We celebrate Communion every Sunday by taking pieces of bread and dipping them in chalices of wine or juice, both of which are clearly marked. We also have gluten-free wafers available.
Will I know the songs?
You might! But if not, we project both words on music onto a large screen so that you may sing along if you wish. These are usually out of the hymnal, which can also be found in the pews.
How long is the service?
We generally worship for around an hour, but because we allow time in our service for people to share individual joys and concerns this can be varied.
